Being an adult with a disability can have its own unique struggles- both for parents and adult children. LH Education strives to provide opportunities for adults for disabilities who aren't quite ready to go out on their own yet- but do not need the level of support of traditional group homes or day programs. Residential Opportunities
Residential apartments coming soon with one and two bedroom opportunities. Resident Advisors available throughout the building to provide support similar to what you would find on a college campus dorm setting. Coming soon: Condo homes available for purchase Apartments available for 6 and 12 month leases |
Educational Programs
Not your typical day program or high school program all over again! Educational programs include work skills, independent living skills and continuing education on basic skills (math and spelling). Specialty classes offered during various times and requests for classes are always accepted! |
Work Employment Programs
Providing opportunities for internships, volunteer work and paid employment both on campus and out in the community. Residents will learn work skills through Educational programs and then work with Career Assistants to help them find unsupported employment.
